AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. The Business Intelligence intern will aid the department with maximizing revenue, optimizing marketing efforts, and driving operational efficiencies by managing data, interpreting business trends, conducting analyses, and data storytelling. Data is king for the LA Kings as we continually seek to understand where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re going.

Responsibilities:

• Surface data insights with compelling visuals
• Build data visualizations to learn and apply data storytelling
• Optimizing analytics data layers for data warehousing
• Fan and brand awareness through market research of 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd party datasets

• Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
• Passion for sports and live entertainment
• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field
• Familiar with SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, R, Python, and/or SPSS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Desire to learn more about the sports and entertainment industry
