Job Description
The Seasonal Social Media Assistant will assist with all aspects of the Chargers organic social media execution and will report to the Programming Manager, Organic Social Media.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ideate, create and execute social-specific content
- Cover practices, games and events
- Assist in posting across multiple Chargers social media platforms and accounts with an emphasis on LinkedIn and community channels
- Keep a close eye on emerging trends and content while bringing new ideas to the table
- Assist in tracking sponsorship obligations and monitor performance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
- Strong understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and trends
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to think quickly and creatively
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow in the social media space
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work within strict deadlines
- Knowledge of and passion for the NFL
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and non-traditional hours
