Job Description
Job Description The Videography intern reports to the Manager of Videography and Social Media and is responsible for promoting the club through owned assets and earned media. The position will include contributions to the club's video content strategy in addition to supporting partnership and match day activation. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of soccer, a desire to communicate with fans and the ability to produce creative and innovative content that drives engagement with the brand.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assisting full-time staff with management of:
Assisting full-time staff with management of:
- Shooting and editing Hartford Athletic video content including but not limited to training sessions, matches, and Trinity Health Stadium events
- Video and photo duties, including compilation of photo and video libraries for both on and off-field content;
- Editing and compiling ongoing promotional video/photo presentations for use in social media and more;
- Document and archive all events related to the team, both on and off-field.
- Attend and work all home games during internship
- Help maintain and update Hartford Athletic video archives
- Pitch content ideas
- Assist conducting interviews with Hartford Athletic players and coaches
- Assist writing and editing features
- Perform research on popular trends
- Other duties as needed to assure success of Hartford Athletic
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Must have a strong knowledge of soccer
- Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
- Experience with Adobe Suite including, but not limited to, Photoshop and Premier Pro preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays on an as-needed basis as well as for all match days during internship
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required
- The position will require in-person work
