Job DescriptionThe United Soccer League is seeking a Game Day Consultant – Video (Independent Contractor) to be involved with monitoring matchday presentations and the capturing of match highlights. Utilizing AI software, this individual will create dynamic match highlights during approved matches.
Duties and Responsibilities
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Remotely work approved game weekends during the 2023 season (typically March to November).
- Watch streams to make sure they are running properly and audit for discrepancies.
- Create post-match highlights and populate match clips using AI software.
- Communicate with the USL social and digital teams.
- Communicate with WSC and third-party vendors on match presentation.
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Experience with video, video clipping, highlight reels, utilizing video software.
- A passion and knowledge for soccer; knowledge of the USL is highly preferred.
- Organizational and time management skills are critical.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable Wi-Fi or internet connection.
- Must own their own computer (desktop/laptop) and have access to reliable telephone communications.
- Ability to communicate accurately and meet strict league deadlines.
