 Job Description

Responsible for coordinating and facilitating Orange Bowl community outreach programs and initiatives, along with assisting in the coordination of game and non-game related events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Community Outreach Administration: 
  • Coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of Community Outreach Dept. I.e. Budgets, Purchase Orders, Contributions, Scheduling Meetings
  • Coordinate Community Outreach Scholarship Programs
  • Coordinate the day to day operations of the Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance (OBYFA) i.e. Budgets, Purchase Orders, Insurance, Park Agreements, Contributions, Grants
  • Coordinate the day to day administrative operations for the Orange Bowl Leadership Academy (OBLA) i.e. Budget, Purchase Orders, Teacher Facilitator payments
  • Assist in enhancing and/or creating Community Outreach programs and events
  • Assist with the management of support staff including assistantships, interns and/or ambassadors
  • Assist with the management of Community Outreach sub-committees
Community Outreach Programs and Events:
  • Coordinate the execution of OBYFA programs & events including but not limited to Grant Program, Park of the Week, Cheer Championships, Cheer and Coaches Clinics
  • Assist in the oversight and execution of the Orange Bowl Leadership Academy
  • Assist in the planning and execution of the Orange Bowl Family, Fun and Fit Day
  • Assist in the planning and execution of the Orange Bowl Florida High School Football Showcase
  • Assist in the planning and execution of the Orange Bowl Florida High School Basketball Showcase
  • Assist in the planning and execution of the Orange Bowl Food and Wine Celebration
  • Coordinate Community Outreach Ticket Donation Programs i.e. Big Buddy & COB

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required plus two to three (2-3) years of community outreach and/or event experience
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills, organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
