 Job Description
 Job DescriptionThe Digital Platforms Intern will assist in creating and publishing content for Giants.com, the Giants app, the Giants newsletter, Connected TV, and additional digital and social media channels. This position will also help ideate creative ideas for engaging social and digital media content. This is a full-time internship working approximately 40 hours per week, plus game days and occasional weekends and holidays. The internship would begin in mid-July and end two weeks after the season is completed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Publish editorial and photo content to digital and social media platforms
- Design page layouts inside Content Management System
- Crop and edit photos for use across all Giants digital & social platforms
- Strategize how to incorporate mixed media to enhance content performance • Work with editorial team to establish and suggest content ideas
- Monitor and audit performance of Giants Podcast Network
- Generate weekly content performance recaps for distribution across business functions • Manage ancillary platforms including e-newsletter, online forms, video captions, push notifications
- Point of contact for approving and publishing social content across in-stadium video board
- Assist with the execution of all marketing initiatives and sponsor activations
- Assist social media team by following trends and contributing ideas
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Strong knowledge of latest social media trends, the New York Giants and the NFL
- Must be knowledgeable of sports reporting syntax
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop
- Experience in Content Management System or website editing a plus
- Ability to clearly communicate technical subject matter to colleagues
- Able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when privy to sensitive information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player attitude and willing to jump in wherever necessary
- Ability to work independently when given a task
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
