Job Description
The Oklahoma City Thunder is currently seeking a hardworking individual for the position of IPTV & AV Specialist! In this role, you will be responsible for the reliable operation of Thunder AV and Digital Signage/IPTV systems as well as coordinating content management related to digital signage platforms. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard for customer facing display elements and work to implement content plans across Vitec and other digital signage systems. You will provide first class AV support across a variety of platforms. This position will work closely with the Thunder Video Production, Thunder Information Technology and Paycom Center Technical Services teams.
In this role you will:
- Oversee and maintain IPTV Digital Signage, AV systems, and related technology in arena and office environments
- Perform gameday setup and verification of content, AV systems and NBA game technology
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems with IPTV and AV systems
- Design content requirements, schedules, checklists or systems to streamline workflow and ensure consistent operations
- Manage and execute marketing and corporate partnership assets, per contractual obligations
- Support Vitec, BrightSign, Crestron, and related technologies
- Recommend, oversee, and complete AV and IPTV projects, additions and installations
- Ensure a high standard of installation, cable management, and serviceability for all systems
- Serve as a designer for Vitec and BrightSign graphic elements
- Manage zone/group assignments throughout each building in a highly efficient manner
- Use ticketing and project management software to respond to requests and document projects
- Research and recommend software/hardware technology to ensure we are running thoughtfully and efficiently in the present and in the future
- Schedule trafficking for all digital signage elements
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant work or military experience
- 3-4 years’ experience managing AV systems, including professional audio, video, and control systems
- Experience in content creation including still graphics and motion graphics. Solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite elements, including but not limited to After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere
- Experience with IPTV, Digital Signage or related content delivery systems
- Must be a motivated and effective team member and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Highly organized, patient, and attentive to detail from cable management to content design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work patiently with individuals or groups across all demographics or hierarchies in the organization in a support and training role
