 Job Description

The Kansas City Mavericks are looking for driven, enthusiastic interns to join the team during our 2023 - 2024 season.  The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors at all levels (both internally and externally) and take pride in all work completed.  The individual needs to be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and meet demanding deadlines.  Individual must also have the ability to work independently, take initiative, provide solutions, and make informed decisions.

Essential Duties

  • Assist in producing and editing video content consistent with company brand/values
  • Assist on gamedays by shooting flavor, game play, etc. as directed
  • Attend practices and interviews, assist in shooting B-Roll
  • Organize and label footage as needed
  • Other roles and responsibilities may be required

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Current college student (undergraduate or graduate).  Must be able to receive course credit.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in professional sports and/or entertainment industry
  • Self-starter mentality and desire to take initiative
  • Knowledge with DSLR camera equipment, knowledge with Lavalier microphones/audio, knowledge with Creative Cloud
  • Must be able to work games and events (nights, weekends, and holidays)
