Job DescriptionThe Wichita Thunder, minor league affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, are looking for a Merchandise Store intern for the 2023-24 season!
Responsibilities:
- Providing great customer service to fans as they approach you with questions. Questions will be relative to sizing, inventory, pricing, etc.
- Organizing available merchandise prior to doors opening on game days
- Processing all checkouts of fans' items
- Upselling fans on merchandise items
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- A good attitude! You're here and willing to learn hands-on professional sports experience!
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous retail experience
- Previous experience with POS systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and ability to be at vast majority of our 36 home games

From 1992 until December 2009, the Thunder played in the Britt Brown Arena located in the northern Wichita suburb of Park City.
