Job Description
Job Description- Data Processing and ETL: Assist in the design and implementation of efficient data processing pipelines and ETL workflows. Collaborate with the team to transform raw data from various sources into structured formats suitable for analysis and reporting.
- Data Integration: Support the integration of data from multiple systems and sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity. Help build and maintain data connectors, APIs, and data pipelines to streamline data ingestion and synchronization.
- Database Management: Assist in the administration of databases, including data modeling, schema design, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. Help maintain data dictionaries, data catalogs, and metadata repositories.
- Data Warehousing: Contribute to the development and maintenance of data warehouses. Assist in designing and implementing efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Data Quality and Governance: Collaborate with the team to establish and enforce data quality standards and data governance practices. Assist in data cleansing, and implementing data quality controls.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data engineering processes, systems, and workflows. Generate reports and assist in data analysis and visualization tasks to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as data analysts, data scientists, and software developers, to understand data requirements and provide support in data-related tasks. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and offer innovative solutions to data engineering challenges.
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, statistics, mathematics, or other related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel required
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Knowledge of APIs
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory is a plus
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript is a plus
- Experience with BI/Visual Analytics Tools such as Tableau a plus
