Job Description
Job DescriptionFC Tulsa is seeking a Manager, PR / Communication & Broadcast. This position will lead the club in all facets of club communications and media outreach. In addition, the role will serve an integral part in broadcast execution and digital strategy and deployment.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary media and PR contact for FC Tulsa (USL Championship)
- Serve as point of contact for clubs broadcasting efforts and partners (league and local)
- Write and disseminate press releases and media advisories, as assigned
- Update player and coach statistical records and track milestones
- Write feature stories and player profiles for use on web, social media and email
- Assist in coordination of media events, including player signings and press conferences
- Assist in match day coverage of teams as assigned
- Assist in press box and media management during home matches
- Assist in routine updates of official game notes, statistics, roster files, etc.
- Assist in maintenance of websites with rosters, staff bios, schedules, and news
- Assist in clubs email content strategy and work with third-party to launch emails
- Select social media management as assigned
- Other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Willingness and ability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to travel with teams, as assigned, throughout the season
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and fulfill requests on short notice
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Strong writing and problem-solving skills
- Coachability
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
