Job Description
Job DescriptionThe intern will be responsible for assisting the Swarm front office staff in game day set-up, in-game promotions on-field. A requirement is frequently working early, late, and on the weekend for games. The intern will also have individual daily and weekly responsibilities.
POSITION RESPONSIBLITES:
- Maintain Georgia Swarm dasher boards, signage, and promotional inventory
- Assist with in-arena contests and events
- Involved in the production of in-arena entertainment including performances and on-turf promotions
- Serve as the assistant for our mascot and in-arena host
- Assist in the set up and tear down of the arena on game days
- Data entry and research of various information
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Must be able to work weekends as required
- Able to commit to the entire NLL season (December 2023 through May 2024)
- Able to work under pressure and in stressful situations in a timely manner
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and attention to client satisfaction
- Strong professional leadership attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office)
- Ability to communicate and work well with Management
- Ability to work individually (with little supervision), as well as part of a team
- Must be able to follow directions with little guidance or specific direction depending given tasks, respond to management direction, and treat people professionally and with respect at all times
