 Job Description
The Graphic Design Intern will serve as a vital resource for Indy Eleven as the club prepares for its 2023 seasons in the USL Championship, USL W League, and the USL Academy League. This position will support the club’s Graphic Designer in the day-to-day duties of designing marketing and content assets supporting of the promotion of Indiana’s Team on and off the field as well as the execution of gamedays at IUPUI Michael A. Carroll Stadium and the Grand Park Events Center.
Examples of the types of content to be fulfilled by the Graphic Design Intern could include, but may not be limited to:
Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Stadium digital (main video board & field-side LED boards) and static signage
- Images/graphics supporting social media and/or digital newsletter campaigns
- Gameday programs
- Images/graphics supporting print and digital advertising campaigns
- Static and motion graphics for inclusion in various video projects
Qualifications Required
- Strong graphic design skills, composition and layout skills, and experience in art production
- Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, (working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and After Effects is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills, verbal communication skills, creativity, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Thorough attention to detail
- Must have a laptop capable of processing design programs
- Ability to work as a part of a team, including being trusted to work with confidential information
- Knowledge of the sport of soccer in general and of Indy Eleven are preferred, but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work select events, which may include some nights and weekends; this will include the club’s annual Media Day event and any home games at Carroll Stadium during the internship term
- Must have own mode of transportation to get to and from office, training facility, and events
- Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
- Experience in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and Teams) is a plus
- Bilingual capabilities a plus
