Job Description
Job DescriptionThe Fireflies internship position(s) will be open to college students and recent college graduates. Interns will be required to work all home games and regular non-games day office hours. Members of the internship program will be exposed to all facets of a minor league baseball organization and will gain practical, in depth experience from one of the positions listed below. Hardball capital believes in hiring from within; many of our current full-time staff members began as interns with one of our clubs. Target start date is mid-January -early February.
Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Rotating between the kids zone
- Usher
- Parking
- Janitorial departments to gain knowledge in all of stadium operations
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Ability to adapt to fast-paced situations
- Ability to work in a team setting or individually (both will occur)
- Goal oriented and organized individual
- Good time management skills
- Have a high attention to detail
- Must be willing to work long hours in inclement weather
- Present yourself in a professional matter
- Willingness to be challenged and step outside your comfort zone
