Job Description
Responsible for support, coordination, and assistance of groundskeeping for baseball games and other events. A strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment is expected.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with cultural practices to the playing field: mowing, aeration, topdressing, sodding, edging, etc.
- Assist with fertilizer calibrations to efficiently apply foliar and granular products to the field.
- Maintain all dirt areas to MLB Specifications: Game mound, home plate, bullpen mounds, infield dirt, baselines, and warning track.
- Assist in field painting: foul lines, coaches' boxes, logos, etc.
- Maintain a well-organized, clean shop as well as maintain all field equipment.
- Maintain all exterior flowers and landscape: includes watering, fertilizing, and weed control.
- Assist with a wide-range of non-baseball events on field throughout the year.
- Will Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with employees while adapting to new ideas and techniques.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and/or frequently deal with a rapidly changing work schedule and environment throughout the day.
- Shares and expresses thoughts in a clear and effective manner through verbal and written communication skills. Exhibits effective listening skills and builds positive relationships with all team members, vendors, and guests. Is diplomatic, tactful, and professional in all forms of communication.
