Job Description
The Sound Wave Co-Director, Administration will oversee all Sound Wave personnel, manage communications to all members, schedule rehearsals, and positively represent the club’s brand and values on home matchdays and while performing in the community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Conduct auditions and hire musicians for open positions within the band, alongside the Sound Wave Co-Director, Music & Performance
- Schedule rehearsals with the band on a regular basis
- Create and communicate the band’s matchday timeline based on direction from the Manager of Game Presentation
- Manage time and attendance for all Sound Wave members and report information to the Manager of Game Presentation
- Attend Sound Wave Lead meetings throughout the season, contributing changes and recommendations for the group.
- Manage all band equipment (including instruments, uniforms, and accessories); place orders and arrange for repair/maintenance when necessary.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications Required
- 3+ years minimum of experience leading a music ensemble.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve and organize large groups of people.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Strong attention to organization, detail, accuracy; often working within strict timing and cues.
- Exercise mature judgment and professionalism.
- Ability to organize rehearsals to efficiently accomplish tasks and improve performance.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
