Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Officiating Program Coordinator shall:
- Be responsible for Officiating development, including but not limited to, certification and re-certification clinics, Level III Seminars, Officials Program of Excellence, Development Camp and other
development initiatives as approved by the NOHA Referee Committee. - Be responsible for the Supervision Program, including coordination and tracking supervisions as required.
- Be responsible for all communications with Officials and Referees-in-Chief regarding policies and procedures, new rules, Championship selections, and any other information that needs to be shared with those involved in the Officiating Program.
- Assist with the administration of Maltreatment Cases, including all tracking and reporting requirements with the OHF and Hockey Canada.
- Collaborate with the NOHA Director of Officials on all aspects of the NOHA Officiating Program.
- Be responsible for reviewing all game sheets and reporting and tracking all suspensions in the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR).
- Be responsible for logistics relating to the NOHA Board of Directors Meetings, and NOHA Annual General Meeting.
- Be the staff resource for the NOHA Referee Committee.

Qualifications Required
The successful candidate for the position of Officiating Program Coordinator shall possess the following:
- Knowledge and experience of the Officiating Program;
- Strong computer skills and experience, particularly with Microsoft Office;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, including working with volunteers
- Required to work out of the Office in North Bay and remotely as necessary.
- May be required to work staggered hours, evenings, and weekends as necessary.
