Job Description
Ultimate Canada seeks an energetic, self-starter to manage events for seniors and masters age-groups in Ultimate. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role oversees planning, logistics, and reporting for national championship series events.
Duties:
- Coordinate planning, logistics, and reporting for all Seniors and Masters age-group national championship series events.
- Manage bid processes and administer event hosting grants.
- Operate national championships and support the competition director.
- Attend UC events, ensuring visibility.
- Support planning and operation of the Ultimate Canada Conference.
- Research feasibility of new events.
- Represent UC at Sport Tourism events.
- Ensure proper implementation of sponsorship agreements.
- Recruit and supervise interns and volunteers.
- Provide strong communications and promotions.
- Manage the Ultimate Canada competitions committee and observer program.
- Support the Executive Director with other duties/projects.

Qualifications Required
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience in event management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Comfortable with office computing and internet technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Desirable Assets:
- Proficiency in both official languages (verbal and written).
- Degree or several years of experience in sports administration, management, kinesiology, or similar field.
- Previous experience in operating Ultimate events.
- Coaching experience.
- Experience in managing teams or programs.
