Job Description
The Florida Panther Foundation is looking for high-energy, motivated sellers to join the Foundation’s highest revenue generating initiative as part of the 50/50 raffle sales team for the 2023-2024 season. The 50/50 Raffle is conducted so that 50% of that game’s jackpot goes to the winner and the other 50% of the jackpot goes to the Florida Panthers Foundation.
Job Functions:
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Facilitate raffle ticket transactions via electronic handheld device to fans pre-game and through the end of the second period intermission.
- Educate fans and answer questions about the Florida Panthers Foundation and 50/50 Raffle.
- Accurately handle the sale and distribution of the tickets, following program requirements.
- Responsible for making credit only sales and troubleshooting the technology of the 5050 raffles through tablet and printer devices
- Understand the mission of the Florida Panthers Foundation.
- Must be able to walk long distances, climb up/down arena stairs, and stand for long periods of time at kiosks to sell raffle tickets
- Help with, and promote other Foundation fundraising initiatives (i.e. auctions, merchandise sales, Foundation events, etc.)
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested

Qualifications Required
- Must be over the age of 18 years.
- Must be able to provide own means of transportation.
- Prior experience and responsibility of working with credit card transaction devices
- Ability to interact positively with large fan base.
- Comfortable approaching people and requesting donations in front of crowds.
- Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.
- Strong sales skills and verbal communication skills.
- Candidates must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays if necessary.
