Job Description

The Inside Sales Account Executive position is part of the Reno Aces Sales Academy program designed to help mentor professional and sales growth. With a focus on building relationships and generating revenue for the Aces ticket sales department, Inside Sales Account Executives are responsible for generating new ticket revenue through outbound phone calls, face-to-face meetings with prospects, touring clients around Greater Nevada Field, and working events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Sell a full menu of ticket products, including, but not limited to full and partial season ticket packages, group tickets, and hospitality packages
  • Develop new business through 70+ outbound calls a day from lists provided to sell group tickets, full and partial season ticket packages
  • Effectively follow up with clients and prospective clients to build relationships to help provide repeat business and meet excellent customer service requirements
  • Proactively create opportunities for new business through up-selling opportunities and referrals from existing clients
  • Contact past customers to generate new ticket sales
  • Conduct in-stadium appointments and tours of Greater Nevada Field to assist in closing new business and developing new relationships
  • Represent the Reno Aces and Greater Nevada Field in a positive way
  • Assist in a variety of game-related duties
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required

  • Undergraduate degree in business/sales/marketing/sports management or similar concentration preferred but not required.
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Disciplined self-starter, curious, coachable, and eager to learn.
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to build a sales career in the sports business.
  • Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, and weekends.
  • Satisfactory completion of a background check.
