Job Description

As Creative Services Project Manager Intern, you will work closely with the lead Project Manager for overseeing the planning and execution of all creative projects at the New York Islanders. Responsibilities include ensuring that all creative projects are created on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Our ideal candidate has strong project management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.  **Applicants will only be considered with a creative portfolio**

  • Work directly with the Creative Services Project Manager to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are on track, problem solving roadblocks, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing the creative team’s graphic designers time effectively and efficiently
  • Triage new jobs requests from multiple departments, determining if the job has all the necessary information, how urgent/high priority the job it, and
  • Communicate with local vendors for print requests from multiple departments
  • Work in our project management system organizing jobs, cataloging jobs into our asset management system, and assisting other departments with possible system/project board issues

Qualifications Required

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Strong time management,
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Proficient in Asana or similar project management system
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with departments and clients
  • Knowledge and interest in professional hockey
