Since their establishment in 2003, they have called Copeland Park their home field, affectionately known as "the Lumberyard."
Former Wisconsin state senator Dan Kapanke is the proud owner of the team.
Part of the Northwoods League, which comprises 22 teams, the Loggers engage in a rigorous season of 72 games, spanning from late May to mid-August. This league serves as a platform for college athletes to showcase their skills to professional scouts during the summer months. Eligible players must be enrolled in college with at least one year of athletic eligibility remaining. Modeled after minor league conditions, the league mandates the use of wooden bats and minor league specification baseballs, along with overnight road trips and nightly games in front of stadium crowds, to provide college players with a taste of the minor league experience.
