Job Description
The Graphic Designer delivers the creation and execution of innovative graphic design, all aspects of the visual identity of the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans. This creative, innovative designer will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a cohesive brand, creative statement, and aesthetic that reflects the values and ideals of the organization.
Sitting in the Marketing Department reporting to our VP, Marketing Strategy, our Graphic Designer is experienced in establishing a visual identity and delivering breakthrough design.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver the brand and creative standards ensuring projects follow the brand criteria set forth by the organization
- Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment with other departments, leaders, and members of the organization
- Deliver creative efforts to ensure the development of effective multichannel design materials
- Communicate dynamic design/creative topics in clear, concise ways to a non-technical/design audience
- Collaborate with the creative staff to ensure continuous team growth and innovation
- Build vendor relationships to guarantee outstanding quality, service and price
- Proactively seek out and deliver new creative concepts, materials and processes
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent
- 3+ years of professional experience with direct creative design experience
- An incredible portfolio of work
- A solid background in Look Development
- Proactive and approachable attitude with a strong sense of team collaboration
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Ability to provide creative solutions
- Proficient in Adobe Creative cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- A variety of knowledge in After Effects & Animation
- Some Animation experience is preferred
