Performance Lab Assistant

The Colorado Rockies are seeking a Performance Lab/Video Assistant in Scottsdale, AZ. As a Performance Lab Assistant, you will support Performance Science staff with responsibilities related to athlete evaluation, training, and performance, along with ability to collaborate effectively with on field staff. This position reports directly to the Manager of Baseball Technology and Coordinator of Performance Science.

• Bachelor’s Degree including, but not limited to Biomechanics, Sports Medicine, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related fields preferred
• Experience working in the sports industry is preferred
• Experience working with baseball video, technology, and data preferred
• Extremely motivated, with a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills, with the desire to learn and grow.
• Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to develop and maintain successful working relationships with members of the Club’s on-field staff and players
• Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication.
• Consistent, punctual, and regular attendance, while presenting a professional image and demeanor.

• Most of the work for this position will originate from the newly constructed Performance Lab at the Colorado Rockies spring training facility in Scottsdale, AZ
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, & nights when players and coaches are occupying the Salt River Fields complex
