Job Description

The Canada Games Council (CGC) is seeking a student who is passionate about sports, events and communities to work with our Sport & Games team for the summer term. The successful applicant will be exposed to a variety of areas of responsibility, including sport partner relations and host society relations, supporting the CGC’s Sport & Games team.

Qualifications Required

Key Responsibilities

Support the digitization of Canada Games Results and Records;
Support the management of the Canada Games Alumni database;
Support to other Canada Games Council work as required

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong attention to detail;
Self starter;
Experience with Google G Suite;
Bilingualism would be a strong asset;
Basic understanding of the Canadian Sport System would be a strong asset.

Eligibility

Students who are required to complete an internship or co-op as part of their post secondary studies are preferred;
Students currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post secondary program focused on sport management or similar area of study are preferred.
