Job Description

Group Sales position will be responsible for selling a full menu of ticket products, but primarily focused on selling group tickets. The goal of this role is to grow our year-round Group Sales effort via selling corporate outings, local organizations, youth soccer clubs, theme night matches, and personal groups. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is goal oriented and that is willing to provide first-class customer service to our fans and supporters.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for sales of Sacramento Republic FC home matches with a primary focus on group outings, theme nights, and hospitality areas, along with assisting membership sales.
  • Follow the Group payment schedule with group leaders to ensure all reserved tickets are purchased and groups participate in a variety of exclusive fan experiences.
  • Consistently set in person or virtual meetings with contacts from assigned sales campaigns and self-prospected accounts.
  • Proactively manage our Fan Experience Package calendar to maximize opportunities at SRFC home matches. Work closely with our Stadium Operations department and FEP staff to ensure proper match day execution.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and new group leaders to create additional revenue opportunities for the club while providing excellent customer service.
  • Refresh your sales pipeline daily by adding at least 5 self-prospected accounts each day via LinkedIn, SalesIntel, Etc.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/sales/marketing/sports management or similar concentration.
  • Relevant Work Experience:
    • Sales Associate 0-1 years
    • Account Executive 1-2 years
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Extremely coachable and eager to learn every day.
  • Highly motivated and an ambition to build a long-term career in the sports business.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
