Job Description
As part of Arizona Operations, the Director - Phoenix Security will be responsible for providing clear and concise direction as it pertains to all game-day and year-round security and safety operations at our Phoenix facility including, but not limited to, establishing, and enforcing standard operating procedures and protocols with respect to securing all assets and employees within the site and structures of American Family Fields of Phoenix.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and schedule 24/7 security at the Phoenix facility and achieve the highest industry standards for safety and security.
- Direct the deployment of on-site life-safety personnel, including security, parking, other event staff, law enforcement, fire officials, and EMT’s.
- Ensure event security meets the standards of MLB “Best Operating Practices.”
- Ensure that all shift related issues, observations, and critical information are documented, verified, digitally archived, and accurately reported to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or Associates Degree and 5 years of experience in law enforcement or a related field or combination of education and/or experience, as well as the ability resolve customer service and conflict management issues.
