ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Excellence
- The ability to work cross departmentally to deliver high-quality special events across the United States for donors, marketing partners, fans, and athletes.
- Anticipates the resources needed for the event including volunteers, supplies, vendors, sponsors, permits, transportation, etc. as needed.
- Ensures the event runs smoothly.
- Leads and participates in the pre-event planning, reviews any history of the event, documents all event logistics and debrief sessions.
- Athlete Experience
- Support athlete development and awareness of the impact of the Foundation and Commercial departments
- Collaborate with the Senior Account Manager in the selection and coordination of athletes for each event
- Promote all our athletes and sports through impactful and engaging ways to our donor bas
- Financial Performance
- Manage fiscally conscious specific event budgets as it relates to expense and revenue

Qualifications Required
- 3+ years of experience in the events and hospitality field and a proven track record in managing and developing relationships with key stakeholders
- Smile First: be a positive presence at events and in team meetings. Extend a good‐natured grace, professionalism, and enthusiasm in all personal interactions with donors
- Be strategic and innovative: anticipate and overcome challenges, be willing to ask the questions, and constantly look for ways to enhance the U.S. Ski & Snowboard guest experience
- Excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task and wear many hats
