ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operational Excellence
    • The ability to work cross departmentally to deliver high-quality special events across the United States for donors, marketing partners, fans, and athletes.
    • Anticipates the resources needed for the event including volunteers, supplies, vendors, sponsors, permits, transportation, etc. as needed.
    • Ensures the event runs smoothly.
    • Leads and participates in the pre-event planning, reviews any history of the event, documents all event logistics and debrief sessions.
  • Athlete Experience
    • Support athlete development and awareness of the impact of the Foundation and Commercial departments
    • Collaborate with the Senior Account Manager in the selection and coordination of athletes for each event
    • Promote all our athletes and sports through impactful and engaging ways to our donor bas
  • Financial Performance
    • Manage fiscally conscious specific event budgets as it relates to expense and revenue

Qualifications Required

  • 3+ years of experience in the events and hospitality field and a proven track record in managing and developing relationships with key stakeholders
  • Smile First: be a positive presence at events and in team meetings. Extend a good‐natured grace, professionalism, and enthusiasm in all personal interactions with donors
  • Be strategic and innovative: anticipate and overcome challenges, be willing to ask the questions, and constantly look for ways to enhance the U.S. Ski & Snowboard guest experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multi-task and wear many hats
