Job Description

The Jacksonville Jaguars are seeking an organized and dynamic storyteller with a passion for photography and metadata to join our growing photography team.  Under the leadership of the Senior Manager of Photography, this individual will help meet the photography needs of a multitude of departments across the front office and football operations. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to oversight of photography projects, digital asset management (DAM) support and photography coverage for various projects as assigned.
Job Responsibilities
  • Support organization-wide workflow for photography capture to meet all department needs, maximize resources and provide creative storytelling
  • Facilitate various areas of digital asset management (DAM) system, including tagging, metadata and archiving
  • Maintain an organized and accessible file system for the entire organization
  • Process and track internal photography requests in collaboration with department project managers
  • Establish and maintain workflows for staff photographers and freelancers
  • Assist in creating and maintaining the supporting documentation for all areas of photography and DAM
  • Serve as a primary storyteller on the gameday photography team during the football season
  • Assist in executing studio photoshoots providing digital tech support as needed
  • Collaborate with marketing, ticketing, sponsorship, and production depts for assigned projects
  • Edit and curate photography assets to be used across Jaguars digital/social platforms
  • Audit and update metadata taxonomy and DAM infrastructure to align with evolving business needs
  • Serve as a house photographer for Daily’s Place concerts and events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, photography or visual arts related field
  • Experience with studio off-camera lighting and metadata application
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Photo Mechanic and Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of DSLR or mirrorless camera systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Robust problem solving and adaptability skills
  • Candidate must be organized and able to function in a fast-paced setting
  • Thrives in a collaborative and process driven environment.
