Job Description
Golden 1 Center, a premier sports and entertainment venue located in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a dedicated Event Manager to oversee all aspects of event management and facility operations!
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with clients, promoter representatives, and internal departments to ensure seamless event logistics.
- Develop event communication materials, including facility set-up materials, floor diagrams, and event estimates.
- Review, interpret, and execute event contracts, maximizing efficiency for both Golden 1 Center and its clients.
- Serve as the on-site facility representative for pre-rigs, load-ins, events, and load-outs.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., BOH Operations, Box Office, Catering, etc.) to ensure smooth event operation.
- Maintain communication of deadlines to clients regarding contractual obligations, insurance, pyro permits, etc.
- Assist Box Office in creating and maintaining event-ticketing manifests.
- Coordinate I.A.T.S.E. stagehand calls and manage rental items delivery, operation, and return.
- Utilize TMSS event management software to create, monitor, and maintain event templates.
- Assist in Operations projects and serve as operations liaison for a limited number of Kings games.
- Handle various other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration/Facility Management, Business Administration, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in event management or arena facility management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Software, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Event Management Software preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude toward challenges.
- Ability to multitask under deadline pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful in problem-solving.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours, including daytime, evening, weekend, and holidays as needed.
