Job Description

  • Engage in business development and take responsibility for project execution, and oversight of Spatial Golf Technology team members, sub-contractors, and consultants to ensure the highest quality of work is provided to our clients
  • Manage a diverse Spatial Golf Technology (GIS) project portfolio, guiding project decisions regarding technical approach, cost implications, and project scheduling.
  • Ensure that maps and reports from GIS, CAD, and other related data and software required for the ShotLink scoring systems and other production systems are produced accurately and within time requirements
  • Responsible for working with the management team to set strategic direction and manage resources needed for TOUR Spatial needs and team development.
  • Responsible for providing tools and guidance to develop the team.
  • Help plan, develop, and implement databases and applications and provide your expertise with GIS modeling, data analysis, and integration of overlays, tables, and maps.
  • Accountable for the team preparation of golf course mapping and specific golf course features deliverables required for the ShotLink scoring systems and other systems.
  • Define processes used for the processing of data collected in the field.

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 5 years experience in GPS and conventional surveying equipment and methods, including total stations and GPS measuring devices
  • Experience with Autodesk, AutoCAD, Map 3D software, ESRI ArcGIS software, PIX4d, and GlobalMapper or similar software
  • Experience in processing LIDAR data into finished products
  • Experience and/or training in geocoding, layer files, shapefiles, geodatabases, projections, data analysis, spatial analysis, data conversion, data entry, and general cartographic skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or information systems/management or equivalent work experience with a strong understanding of GIS principals
