Job Description
The Intern, Partnership Marketing will be a part of USA’s Swimming’s Commercial Division supporting the logistical aspects of Partnership Marketing’s summer hospitality events at the USA Swimming Olympic Team Trials and the Summer Olympics. The Intern, Partnership Marketing will assist the division with organizing, setup, and hosting of hospitality events to include facilitating conversations through interpretation between business guests, and USA Swimming staff on location in Paris, France.
Internship Period: May 2024 – August 2024
Pay Range: $20.00 per hour
Hours per week: 37.50 - 40.00
Benefits: This position is not eligible for company benefits.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Partnership Marketing team in the organizing and execution of summer hospitality events.
- Coordinate the room/event for USA Swimming’s Friends and Family Program at the Olympics.
- Support Partnership Marketing Director by providing translation services in English/French for guests, associates, partners, etc., during the Paris Olympics.
- Create summaries and reports for procedural documentation.
- Take on a variety of projects and day-to-day tasks supporting the Partnership Marketing team.

Qualifications Required
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at the junior or senior level status or completed an educational degree within one calendar year prior.
- Preferred candidates will be enrolled in one of the following degree programs; Business, Communications, Sports Management, French Studies, Marketing.
- Experience in sport preferred (work or competitive)
- Minimum of 1 year work experience, preferably in events/operations.
- Passion for both the Olympic Movement and the mission of the USA Swimming goals and objectives.
