Job Description

The Entertainment and Events team is responsible for creating the overall event concept and design, developing the execution plan and timeline, and establishing the budget. The role of the Coordinator, Events is to support the Events team with planning and execution of events for the Miami Dolphins.

Location:
This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:
MIAMI DOLPHINS
Assist with planning, design, and execution of:

  • Draft Weekend inclusive of: Draft Watch Party, Nat Moore Endowment Party, Draft Golf Classic
  • Fins Weekend
  • Training Camp Fan Public Days
  • Miami Open (Stadium Fan Spaces)
  • Dolphins Challenge Cancer (5K and event signage)
Co-lead our Game Day Staff Operations, inclusive of:
  • Reviewing Resumes
  • Hosting Interviews
  • Onboarding Staff
  • Alert of Internal Job Opportunities
  • Monthly Newsletter

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior event planning experience preferred.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic company and be a collaborative, passionate, results-oriented person who wants to make a difference.
  • Strong ability to demonstrate initiative, solve problems, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work nights, long hours, weekends and holidays.
  • Must always demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with a team-first mentality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
