The Missoula PaddleHeads, under the umbrella of Big Sky Professional Baseball, LLC., has a vision to grow our brand to achieve our mission: create a delightful customer experience that brings fans back time and time again, deepen our value to the community so we can harness our loyalty for public good, and stand as a centerpiece for everything baseball for our good neighbors in Western Montana. We are looking for a person who is interested in overseeing our promotions and entertainment operations at Ogren Park Allegiance Field during our event season.   This position would be a full-time year-round employee with a sales component added in. This position will be tasked with creating a fun and engaging ballpark experiences for all fans at PaddleHeads home games and non-baseball events.  We are looking for people that share our passion for doing right, engaging meaningfully, and expecting success. With a clear vision toward a bright future, we will work together to maximize the fan experience, create a deeper sense of community value, and stand as the centerpiece for everything baseball for our good neighbors in Missoula. We are looking for a team member with a hunger to be in professional sports who wants to grow both personally and professionally while delivering a quality product to our fans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall operation of all promotions at Ogren Park Allegiance Field, including 48 in-season baseball games and all PaddleHeads Production events.
  • Establish and execute best in class entertainment that captivates everyone who enters the ballpark and leads to an overall growth of revenue.
  • Plan, own, manage and execute the team’s weekly and season long promotions and events calendar.
  • Oversees the creation, management and execution team’s Game Script for all home games and all PaddleHeads Production events.
  •  Utilize the videoboard and all production equipment to create great entertainment and sponsorship value for all home games and PaddleHeads Productions.
  •  Oversees the design and create all videoboard elements. Including motion graphics, headshots, prerecorded video, live video elements, statistics, sponsorship activation, and make sure they are up to date and to the standards of best-in-class entertainment.
  •  Assist in the creation and implementation of year-round marketing strategies that focus on ballpark entertainment, promotions, and PaddleHeads Productions through social media, digital marketing, and in-stadium marketing.
  • Hire and manage quality in-season staff to support all entertainment and promotional operations. Including, Press Box staff; PA, sound, videoboard, camera operators – Mascot & Promotions Team (In-Stadium & Community Outreach), and hold them to the standards of a best-in-class entertainment.
  • Develop engaging, fresh, and exciting ballpark promotions that increase overall attendance and focuses on revenue growth that helps accomplish overall PaddleHeads team goals.

Qualifications Required

  • A passion to work hard, embrace success and be in Professional Baseball and event management.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage time well.
  • Ability to be creative and enhance our product.
  • Must have experience in entertainment or production.
  • Prefer someone who is trained in Daktronics videoboard operations.
  • Prefer someone who has experience in event planning or sports promotions planning.
  • Must possess creative skills and experience in the adobe suite
  • Must have own transportation.
