Job Description
The Coordinator, Engineering is responsible for the execution of general facility maintenance, engineering team schedules, and special projects facility projects in coordination with Manager, Engineering. This position will also act as a liaison between the facility and clients, internal departments, vendors to ensure that all facility rules, regulations, and policies are adhered to.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinate and ensure completion of maintenance and repairs received from facility operations leadership.
- Execute facility repair requests from various departments to ensure the facility is properly maintained.
- Coordinate scheduling and tracking for preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvement.
- Regularly attend event planning meetings to ensure the Engineering Department receives pertinent information to appropriately staff and prepare the facility for upcoming events.
- Partner with all applicable departments to provide clear, concise, and timely communications regarding event requirements and requests.
- Assist the department in tracking and accounting for inventory and all facility supplies on a regular basis.
- Compile, organize, and track data trends within facility utility accounts.
- Serve as the lead for the Engineering Department on projects and events as needed and assigned by Facility Operations leadership.
- Support operations leadership in expanding preventative maintenance schedules, departmental standard operating procedures, emergency procedures, and risk/safety policies are being adhered to and compliant with all governmental regulations including but not limited to Cal/OSHA.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.

Qualifications Required
- Must possess exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Advanced knowledge of the following computer programs: Microsoft Office (SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Must possess a current California Driver’s License that is in good standing.
- Must be able to work nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as the event calendar requires.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance and stand/walk for long period of time.
- Forklift and/or scissor lift certification preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
