Job Description
This position provides logistical, administrative and operational support for First Tee’s College Scholarship Program. This position works closely with the Manager, Scholarships to coordinate the preparation of materials and information for professional development workshops, scholarship application review, the awarding process, donor stewardship and marketing the scholarship program to our chapter network.
This role is accountable for day-to-day customer service, tracking and managing mentor-scholar relationships, planning, creating and implementing components of the scholarship program, and data management.
- Coordinate the administration, communication and logistics for professional development workshops
- Assist with creating, developing and updating marketing materials and donor stewardship pieces for scholarship program
- Administer scholarship recipient form for scholarship disbursements annually
- Maintain and report on scholarship recipient data
- Track and manage mentor-scholar relationships
- Research and identify best practices, materials and resources for scholarship program
- Provide customer service to scholars throughout the award process
- Assist with processing, disbursement and tracking of scholarship funds
- Document standard operating procedures for scholar-mentor tracking system
- Special projects or other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
- Four-year degree in business, education or related field
- 2-4 years non-profit experience or experience in higher education in financial aid, admissions, or scholarship offices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience communicating with upper level management and C-Suite clients
- MS Office and Google Suite knowledge
- SurveyMonkey Apply and Graduway experience preferred
- First Tee experience preferred
