Job Description
Job DescriptionThe ECNL is the nation’s leading youth soccer development platform. The ECNL respects and celebrates the unique individuality of every youth soccer player and club, supporting and enabling them to unleash their unfettered passion and fierce tenacity in striving to achieve their potential.

SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include working with the Director of Creative Services to develop ideas for The ECNL brand across all platforms and materials for the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Shape visual narratives that deliver beautifully designed work that is both informative and on-brand
- Create consistent, design solutions across all platforms and pieces (print or digital)
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with director and departments across the organization in the planning and development of content for events, deliverables, and digital content
- Stay on top of evolving social and digital behaviors, design landscape inside and outside of sports, and apply insights into creative and strategic approach
- Other duties as necessary
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and have a strong design portfolio that highlights layout, typography, motion, and visual hierarchy
- Well-developed knowledge of the social media landscape and experience creating design solutions across multiple platforms
- Successful candidate should exhibit meticulous attention to detail, possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, be organized, and able to prioritize and manage many projects at a given time
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate ideas and design decisions is a must. Should also be able to work in line with modern design, print, internet, and sports culture trends
- Must be able to work is in line with style guides and branding for The ECNL and their partners
- Successful candidate will have knowledge of soccer, players, history, rules, and the game of soccer knowledge is a plus
- Ability to apply an entrepreneurial approach to their work and has a positive and upbeat attitude
- Experience in large format and environmental design is a plus
- Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Conceptualize, plan, and execute original creative design solutions for all departments of The ECNL organization, all within set timeframes.
- Assist director in creation and distribution of league-wide assets
- Invent original designs and manage existing long-term ECNL brand identity items. Ensure that all new and existing creative design solutions meet the standards defined in The ECNL’s' brand style guide.
- Actively participate in peer-to-peer feedback sessions regarding potential design solutions.
- Design print, outdoor, and web ads for various ECNL initiatives
- Organize all club assets, photos, content submitted from ECNL in Action, video, and other marketing items for easy access to the department
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the creative team in order to establish a cohesive campaign each season.
- Effectively communicate new and existing design rationale and concepts to department leadership.
- Stay abreast of developments and trends in visual arts, graphic design, and relevant software.
- Facilitate photoshoots when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by the Creative Director.
EXPERIENCE:

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Design or a related field and at least 2-4 years professional experience
