  • Track team store inventory on a daily basis
  • Manage the team store during every home game and event at Witter Field
  • Work with front office to determine deal of the day and sale items
  • Assist the front office in team store setup prior to opening day
  • Work with ownership and front office on item pricing
  • Work with the social media team to market Rafters merchandise and promote specific items
  • Identify ways to promote Rafters merchandise and improve merchandise sales during each home game
  • Work with General Manager to submit merchandise orders when inventory is running low
  • Assist with merchandise website design and work with team photographer to photograph all items and update website on a consistent basis
  • Work with the video production team to produce commercials promoting Rafters merchandise
  • Work with front office to assemble and distribute donation bags
  • Other duties assigned by the GM

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

The Retail Marketing internship runs from mid May to late August. The summer collegiate season officially begins in late May.  Qualifications are based on ability, desire, work ethic and a commitment to make the most of the experience.  Internships are geared to educate about the entire business of baseball.
Rafters interns receive a $1500 salary for the summer and are expected to maintain a very challenging schedule throughout the internship. Interns are expected to be at all home games as well as play key roles in executing special events taking place at Witter Field.  Days off are granted throughout the season to help alleviate the challenging schedule.
