Job Description
The Ticket Sales Internship is designed for current college undergraduate students to be able to work part-time around their class schedule during the Spring 2023 semester. The main function of this internship will be to learn the basics of ticket sales and be able to apply what you learn throughout this internship to make ticket sales by selling ticket plans, group tickets and hospitality packages.
This program is designed help you get your foot in the door and to develop future leaders in the industry, and we are committed to preparing you to take the next step in your career!
Responsibilities:
- Make 10+ outbound calls per hour from provided leads and individual prospecting.
- Contribute to the sales team growth in both group ticket revenue and number of group tickets sold.
- Develop new leads through cold calling, face to face appointments and social media connections.
- Sell new group outings and ticket plans for the 2023 season.
- Maintain accurate notes through HubSpot CRM software for leads and sales tracking
- Actively research and prospect new sales leads.
- Sell memberships and hospitality areas as assigned by the Manager of Inside Sales.
- Provide excellent customer service to all existing and potential clients.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
- Prior experience in sales or sports industry is not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong written and oral communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
