Job Description
The South Bend Cubs are looking for an experienced Business Development/Ticket Account Executive. If hired for this position, you will be required to conduct face-to-face meetings for South Bend Cubs Ticket Packages and Suite Lease Partnerships. You will be responsible for making outbound sales calls, selling, and servicing season tickets, suite lease partnerships, group outings, hospitality packages, and others.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Renew season ticket and ticket package accounts from year to year
- Provide unsurpassed customer service to all clients as well as co-workers
- Maintain and service group sales contacts
- Follow and implement all team sales programs and call scripts
- Help develop new sales promotions
- Assist with team sales campaigns
- Hosting clients and prospects at all home games
- Ticket Department lead on all event space rental and coordination
Qualifications Required
- Strong communication skills and superior customer service abilities
- College degree preferred
- One year or more in B2B and/or ticket sales experience is preferred
- Proven record of establishing and maintaining professional relationships
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Proficiency in basic software programs (Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Have own dependable vehicle and transportation
- Experience with ticket systems is a plus
