Job Description
The Los Angeles Dodgers Performance Science team uses science and engineering principles to better understand on-field performance through biomechanical data analysis and visualization.
- A degree in STEM (mechanical engineering, biomechanics, physics, etc.)
- Some computer programming experience (Python, command line tools)
- Familiarity with SQL/database querying
- Ability to travel to Arizona for Spring Training
- Must be detailed-oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments and projects under pressure
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications Required
- Current senior with a graduation date of winter 2022 OR within one year post graduation
- Must be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 5-month program (March 20-August 11).
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Passionate about working for a professional sports team.
- Proactive and out of the box thinking.
