Job Description
Event Production Assistant will help support the Event Production Coordinator in a variety of tasks but not limited to:
- Assist with the setup and operation of the video control room before, during, and after all Nashville Sounds home games and special events at First Horizon Park
- Assist with the setup and break down of cameras and audio equipment for all Nashville Sounds home games and special events at First Horizon Park
- Assist with the maintaining of the audio/video equipment and making repairs as needed
- Assist the Director of Marketing, Video and Digital Production Manager, Entertainment and Promotions Manager as needed
- Operate various control room positions during a game or special event as needed
- Assist with the editing of headshots, graphics, or other elements as needed
- Assist in loading in the elements created by the Marketing Department and Corporate Partners for Nashville Sounds games and special events
Qualifications Required
- Strong grasp of live sports TV production
- An understanding of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- An understanding of Ross products, such as Carbonite, XPression, and Dashboard
- General knowledge of Sony Cameras
- General knowledge of Fujinon Lenses
- An understanding of live audio/video signal flow
- Experience in working in a live TV production environment
- Strong knowledge of how to over/under wrap a cable
- Ability to operate a camera, audio board, replay system, video board system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to make quick decisions
- Knowledge and understanding of the rules, statistics, history of Major League Baseball and their teams
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. or more
- Availability and willingness to work extended and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and be on-call for events as necessary
