Job DescriptionThe New York Yankees are seeking a self-motivated Accounts Payable Administrator to join the Accounting and Financial Operations team. This person will report to the Controller, Treasury and Payables and will be based at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, FL.
Primary Responsibilities
- Budget to Actual expense comparison
- Accounts Payable vendor maintenance and spend management
- Payment disbursement and distribution
- Accounts Payable data entry using accounting software and other programs
- Cash Receipt deposits
- Bank reconciliations
- Record retention and database management
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Strong math and computation knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word a necessity
- Exceptional organizational traits and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
