located in Richmond, VA, is accepting applications for an internship in video and digital media. This is a temporary paid position from February 14, 2023, to October 14, 2023, that will report to the Director of Communications and Digital Media.

Primary Duties
- Create original digital content for Richmond Kickers' properties
- Assist in the operation of Richmond Kickers' social media accounts
- Create and capture compelling video content ranging from fan experience on matchday, behind-the-scenes access at training, to 1-on-1 player features
- Edit and finalize video content for the official club website, social media, and paid advertising; optimize video content for different platforms
- Compile necessary materials for and design certain club documents/projects
- Attend all professional team home games and attend team training sessions; be available to work remotely on away games
- Actively contribute in meetings as a member of the creative team
- Maintain confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required; a background in videography, graphic design, or communications is strongly desired
- Multilingual (Spanish preferred) abilities desired, but not required
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred; Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required
- Proficiency in Social Media Platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube is preferred. Basic knowledge of these social media platforms is required
- Proficiency in videography using equipment like DSLRs and even high-end cell phones is preferred. Basic knowledge of videography equipment required
- Access to insured videography equipment is preferred but not required
- Must have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection for any out-of-office work
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment
- Strong writing and computer skills
- Strong editing and proofreading required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently on a variety of time-sensitive projects
- A high degree of integrity and discretion in dealing with sensitive subject matters.
- Knowledge of sports/soccer is preferred, but not required
- Able to work well in a cross-functional team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
