Job Description
The Director of Culinary Nutrition will collaborate with the Director of Performance Nutrition to facilitate athlete nutrition care along with the oversight and execution of practice facility, ownership kitchen and game day operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be an innovator and creator of the culinary arts
- Manage and supervise other nutrition and kitchen employees
- Provide training and mentorship to other nutrition and kitchen employees that have diverse backgrounds and different skill sets
- Create schedules for the nutrition and kitchen staff
- Responsible for online ordering system which includes ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Create an enticing and creative menu for high-level events
- Foster a trusting relationship with other employees and athletes
- Design educational materials for other nutrition and kitchen staff
- Stock supplies, ingredients, and equipment in multiple locations
- Cook and deliver meals for premium clients and ownership
- Assist in implementing specific dietary needs in kitchen based on health analysis and recommendations of the Director of Performance Nutrition
- Oversee and cultivate the athlete meal prep program
- Assist leadership in the department with special event and projects

Qualifications Required
- Requires 10+ years of kitchen and hospitality experience
- 5+ years in management experience preferred
- Experience working in a professional sports environment preferred
- Food handlers permit required
