 Job Description
 Job DescriptionThe Social Media intern reports to the Manager of Videography and Social Media and is responsible for promoting the club through owned assets and earned media. The position will include management of social media and digital content in addition to supporting partnership and match day activation. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of soccer, a desire to communicate with fans and the ability to produce creative and innovative content that drives engagement with the brand.
Duties & Responsibilities:

- All team [Hartford Athletic and secondary Hartford Athletic accounts] social media accounts, including content, scheduling, special promotions
- Video and photo duties, including compilation of photo and video libraries for both on and off-field content;
- Editing and compiling ongoing promotional video/photo presentations for use in social media and more;
- Document and archive all events related to the team, both on and off-field.
- Attend and work all home games during internship
- Contribute to coverage of all road matches during internship
- Help maintain and update all Hartford Athletic social platforms
- Pitch content ideas
- Â Assist conducting interviews with Hartford Athletic players and coaches
- Assist writing and editing features
- Â Perform research on popular trends
- Create and execute social media contests and promotions
- Other duties as needed to assure success of Hartford Athletic
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Must have a strong knowledge of soccer
- Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
- Experience with Adobe Suite including, but not limited to, Photoshop and Premier Pro preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays on an as-needed basis as well as for all match days during internship
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required
- The position will require in-person work
