 Job Description
 Job DescriptionAs the Traffic and Parking Manager, you will oversee the traffic ingress and egress around the Nissan Stadium campus to include all parking related operations and issues associated with Nissan Stadium on event and non-event days. This individual is required to be onsite for all major events and coordinate with different entities as it relates to traffic control/flow, parking lot management, shuttle and ride share coordination. The Traffic & Parking Manager will report to the Director of Guest Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for all traffic and parking related matters associated with Nissan Stadium from planning, execution, and evaluation
- Establish an action plan for traffic and parking operations for Nissan Stadium major & special events
- Manage all parking lot related issues on a daily basis to include availability of lots, maintenance and proper access control
- Responsible for all road closure permits and proper record keeping as it relates to road closures
- Maintain and build productive professional relationships & partnerships with all transportation and parking entities and vendors that would increase the guest experience from an ingress and egress standpoint. Examples include but not limited to Music City Star, MTA, PMC, Joy Ride, and rideshares
- Maintain proper parking inventory of all lots associated with Nissan Stadium or Nissan Stadium event to include off site lots
- Work with MNPD, NDOT, and TDOT on traffic flow and patterns both from an ingress and egress standpoint for all Nissan Stadium events
- Manage & collaborate with Stadium Experience team on ADA ingress and egress from drop off points and parking lots.
- Manage and oversee all shuttle related operations associated with Nissan Stadium
- Work with facility operations on proper placement of accessories in the lots that enhance the fan experience to include but not limited to dumpsters, trash cans, ash cans, Porta Johns
- Ensure proper wayfinding and signage is posted around the campus and in the parking lots as it relates to wayfinding and security
- Work effectively with Sports Authority regarding use of lots for Nissan Stadium Major and Special Events.
- Incorporate the NFL Stadium Security Best Practices into the parking lot management operation plan.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
Qualifications Required
Qualifications Required- Minimum five years of experience in traffic and parking lot management, or related field preferred
- Ability to problem solve and think outside the box
- Great understanding of traffic flow, both vehicle and pedestrian, as well as fan arrival dynamics
- Ability to produce and communicate plans effectively from an operational standpoint
- Effective leadership experience in managerial roles preferred
- Ability to lead, understand and communicate effectively
- Proactive approach toward day-to-day activities and effective planning
- Ability to enhance and lead a positive and encouraging work environment
- Skilled at building positive, professional relationships with both internal and external partners
- Ability to perform well under pressure, including strong ability to multitask
- Ability to work within a team and independently
