The Washington Commanders are looking for 2023 Seasonal Interns to join the Photography Team. The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The team belongs to the East Division of the National Football Conference in the National Football League. The team's home stadium is FedExField in Landover, Maryland. Its headquarters and training facility is the OrthoVirginia Training Center at Commanders Park in Ashburn, Virginia. Washington has played more than 1,000 games since 1932 and has won five NFL Championships (two pre-merger, and three Super Bowls). The franchise has captured 15 NFL divisional titles and five NFL conference championships.
Dates of Internship: June 5, 2023 – March 1, 2024
Full-Time Internship (40 hours per week)
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Support the Photography team on a variety of projects and day-to-day activities
  • Assist in cross-group projects, initiatives, and activities
  • Assist in season and game day planning, projects, and activities
  • Assist in various game day activities
  • Aid at special events, games, and client meetings
  • Interact professionally with clients, team executives, other departments, and fans

Qualifications RequiredQualifications Required

  • Candidate must be pursuing a degree in Photography, Photo Journalism or related degree or be up to 1-year post-grad.
  • Experience in all aspects of Photography (sports and events) Knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Experience with asset management and content curation
  • Polite, positive, self-starter who works well with others.
  • Ability to handle physical requirements of the job including setting up equipment for events and other light to medium lifting.
