Job Description
The Washington Commanders are looking for 2023 Seasonal Interns to join the Guest Experience team. The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The team belongs to the East Division of the National Football Conference in the National Football League. The team's home stadium is FedExField in Landover, Maryland. Its headquarters and training facility is the OrthoVirginia Training Center at Commanders Park in Ashburn, Virginia. Washington has played more than 1,000 games since 1932 and has won five NFL Championships (two pre-merger, and three Super Bowls). The franchise has captured 15 NFL divisional titles and five NFL conference championships.
Dates of Internship: June 5, 2023 – May 25, 2024

Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Guest Experience team on a variety of projects and day-to-day activities
- Assist in cross-group projects, initiatives, and activities
- Assist in season and game day planning, projects, and activities
- Assist in various game day activities
- Aid at special events, games, and client meetings
- Interact professionally with clients, team executives, other departments, and fans
Qualifications Required
- Candidate must be pursuing a degree or be up to 1-year post-grad.
- Must be able to develop ideas into a presentation and present in a group setting.
- Experience in providing a high level of customer service is highly preferred.
- Must have strong time management and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in event venue operations, customer service and guest relations is highly preferred.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite,
- Strong ability to think strategically and creatively
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead, coordinate and deliver multiple projects at once within strict deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours/days (i.e. game days on Sundays/primetime or offsite events)
